This page contains tentative vendor information for CCAG Fall 2008. CCAG Vendor InformationThank you for interest in attending CCAG as a vendor / exhibitor! We are looking forward to you attending northern Ohio's only show dedicated to classic computing and gaming. Please read this entire page, then feel free to ask questions and, of course, register to attend our popular show. CCAG vendors receive the following benefits:
Date and Time of CCAG Fall 2008The show will occur in October 12, 2008 from Noon - 8:00 PM. Vendor setup is between 10:00 AM and noon. If you show up early, you will be turned away; so, do not show up early. REPEAT! DO NOT SHOW UP EARLY! (Did we mention you shouldn't show up early?) Table RentalWe have over 4000 square feet of space, lots of chairs, and electrical outlets to spare. However, we only have 50 tables, and based on last year's show, they will go fast! We have two rooms. One main room that will be "flea market" style and one side room where vendors with stand-up displays and cabinets will go. (This is because we need to keep a minimum distance between the rows in the "flea market" area.) We have 50 tables in the main room and 4 "spaces" for arcade style cabinets and displays in the second room. Below is a map of the show floor:
Vendors may choose their location, but the CCAG committee has the final decision on table reservations and vendor locations. (We can't have too many single tables dotting the place since most vendors take more than one table.) Table rental cost which includes applicable Ohio Sales Tax is as follows:
Every table space will come with a maximum of two chairs unless you tell us otherwise. There are no curtains, backdrops, or "table skirts" available. You may not affix anything to the walls that may cause permanent damage. Want Electricity? Bring an Extension CordWe have lots of electrical outlets, chances are you won't be far from them. If you want electricity, you must bring at least one 25 foot extension cord and a power strip. You must use a power strip. Want more electricity? Bring more, longer extension cords and more power strips. :) 'Nuff said. ScheduleCCAG Setup: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM. (This time is reserved for CCAG Committee Members to prepare the hall. If you show up during this time, you will find yourself drafted into helping, which would be much appreciated. No sales during this time. No vendors or attendees allowed in.) Vendor Setup: 10:00 AM - Noon. (No sales during this time. No attendees allowed in. Staff will be on-hand to direct you to your table or Arcade Cabinet Space. Setup and tear down of your wares is your responsibility. Staff will not be on hand to "watch your tables" for during any personal breaks; make friends with nearby vendors or bring a helper. :) Show Time: Noon - 8:00 PM (Sales allowed. Door prize drawing one hour before the show closes.) Breakdown: 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM (No sales during this time. No attendees will remain.) Vendor RegistrationThere are two ways to register as a CCAG vendor, via email (preferred) or just show up (heavily discouraged). To register as a vendor via email, email us by October 6, 2008 with the following information:
You can register as a vendor by simply showing up at 9:00 AM, and you still will need to tell us all the information above at the door but:
It's really up to you, but we recommend registering by email. It's free, simple, easy, and gives the the benefit of publicity. You should really consider registering by email today! Payment for TablesAll tables reserved by email on or before October 6, 2008 must be paid for, which means the payment must clear our bank on or before October 6, 2008. If your tables are not paid for by October 6, 2008, they will go into the pool of open tables and will be issued on a "first come, first served" basis on the day of the show at 10:00 AM. In the email we send you confirming your reservation, we will also send you information on how to pay. (Key sponsor Video Connection is handling our billing this year.) You will receive a confirmation email from us when your payment clears that will be your receipt. There are no refunds past October 1, 2008. You may only pay for tables at the show by cash! Sign-In and RegistrationUpon arrival all vendors and their helpers must register their name, mailing address, and email address with the CCAG committee. If you do not register, you don't get in. ...And a Touch of SecurityWhile on the grounds of the facility, all persons will have their hands stamped. No exceptions! Door PrizesVendors are not required to donate a door prize, but it would be nice if you did. Something small, something big, something unusual. It really doesn't matter. If you tell us what you're donating ahead of time, we will list it on our web site and on the program we will be passing out at the show. It will help us to defray the costs of holding the show even more. Non-Attending Supporting VendorsWe realize that Cleveland, Ohio is pretty far for some vendors to attend, yet they'd like to support our show - and receive all of the benefits of being an attending vendor without the benefit of actually attending - with a door prize. If you'd like to do that, we will list you on our site an in the CCAG program as a non-attending, door prize donating vendor. Your byline won't be as big as vendors who do appear, but it will be here and in the hands of every attendee who walks through the door. Just send us an email and let's get you set up as a non-attending, door prize donating vendor. |
